Well, I finally did it!
I presented at the ASTD Tech Knowledge '08 conference in San Antonio, TX. I can honestly say that, despite some early "technical issues" (where else to have tech problems but at a tech conference, eh?), both sessions went fairly well. Although the first session had far more participants, the second session went *extremely* well. Only 7 or so folks showed up, but we were able to cover the content much more deeply, which gave folks a better understanding of how I approach developing content, interactivity and flash development for Adobe Presenter.
In the next couple of days, I'll be sharing in more detail EXACTLY what was covered (in case you care!) and I'll also share a variety of resources to help folks make their work in Presenter a much more solid experience for their learners.
And stay tuned...because I also had the opportunity to meet Silke Fleisher, Product Manager for Captivate...and I'll share an outstanding session she gave on the new Captivate 3, as well as a work-around to a problem that's been bugging me for some time now.
In any event, the ASTD conference was one I won't soon forget, and if given the chance to do it again, I'd jump on that in a hearbeat!
For those of you following my forum at http://www.robrode.com/yabb/, I just posted some new information under the Resources category, including John Diagle's site for Captivate, or you can simply go here: http://www.showmethedemo.com/
